We’re sure everyone remembers that glorious moment when One Direction won a Brit Award for the Best British Single.
And we’re sure everyone has probably memorized every word that the lads said, even the bit when Harry Styles thanked the wrong Radio station..
Just in case you need a reminder, Harry infact said: ‘a massive thank you to Radio 1’ at the awards as apposed to Capital FM.
It was an easy mistake to make, but one which cost One Direction big time, as their songs were then promptly taken off Capital FM airwaves because it was their listeners who voted for that award.
If you watch back the footage, we're pretty sure that at that moment we heard Capital FM deleting every single One Direction song they had on any of their playlists.
Twas a sad day.
But now, according to fans, last night at around 7:45pm, the station played a 1D track and the lads rejoiced (or so we presume).
So now One Direction can rest easy knowing that just about the only radio station in the UK who weren’t playing their songs have now seen sense.
Phew, thank goodness for that.
