1D won Bambi awards

One Direction won big at the Bambi Awards in Germany this week, plus delivered an awesome performance!

No it’s not an award ceremony to honour the world’s biggest deer lovers – but strangely the awards are actually in the shape of a deer.

The band picked up the Pop International Award, and also performed Live While We’re Young. Is it just us, or does it look like the audience watching them could not care less that 1D are performing for them... but the girls outside are going mental. Directioners.

Harry tweeted, ''Thank you so much Germany for the Bambi award! It means a lot ... we had fun tonight .. x”.

Niall added, ''Wow! Just won favourite international artist at the bambis in Dusseldorf. Thank you Germany”.

It feels like the boys are visiting everywhere at the moment... but we still have to wait another 10 months until they get to Australia. Sad.

Until then, here are some photos and videos of One Direction to look at. It’s not nearly as good as the feeling of stalking them and chasing them around an Australian city. But it’s all we’ve got.
